what we believe

  • We believe in Scripture as the inspired Word of God, taking nothing from it and adding nothing to it.  (Isaiah 51:15-16; Jeremiah 1:9)

  • We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, each existing as one God, yet separate persons.  (1 Peter 1:2; Relation 1:4-6)

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  (1 John 1:3; 1 John 4:15)

  • We believe Jesus was immaculately conceived by the Holy Spirit from a virgin named Mary.  (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:32-37)

  • We believe Jesus lived a sinless life and was crucified on a cross and by His blood paid the price for the sins of man.  (Romans 5:10-11; Ephesians 1:2-8)

  • We believe after being buried in a tomb Jesus arose bodily from the dead on the third day conquering death, hell, and the grave.  (John 11:25; 1 Peter 3:21)

  • We believe every man, by his own will, has chosen to sin and disobey God, and therefore deserves death.  (Ephesians 1:2-8)

  • We believe a person is saved by grace through faith, not by works.  (Ephesians 2:8)

  • We believe that God protects His children, and that once a person is saved he cannot lose his salvation.  (John 3:16; Romans 6:23)

  • We believe in a fiery hell where all those who have rejected Jesus' atonement will spend an eternity of judgment.  (Matthew 8:12; 2 Thessalonians 1:9)

  • We believe in a glorious heaven where God's children spend eternity with God.  (2 Corinthians 5:1-2; 1 Peter 1:4)

  • We believe a day will come when God returns for His church.  (Titus 2:13; John 14:3)

  • We believe God created everything in six twenty-four hour days.  (Psalm 8:3; John 1:3)

  • We believe that God has a perfect plan for every person's life and he has a choice to accept it or not.  (Romans 8:27; Acts 18:21)
